Premiere | Idle Threat "No Turning Back"

Image
Honest, powerful, and poignant rock 'n' roll. Tooth & Nail's newcomers Idle Threat have been making a name for themselves as they coast along the scene's wide landscape, getting high praise for their one-of-a-kind masterpiece blurred visions with one of the big stand outs being their leadoff single "No Turning Back" .  The track like the record itself shows a full display of peace and humility, finding comfort in oneself which reaching out to the people around you, while coming to the realization that you have no control. It's a track that goes full throttle without skipping any beats, going all in with its energetic alt-rock/post-hardcore sound, giving us a taste of what rock music is. It's an uplifting track that never let's go, and it's oh so beautiful. Much like its video that the band are sharing with us for your viewing pleasures. We are very excited to be partnering with Idle Threat in premiering the video for "No Turning Back&q

Album Review | Underoath "Voyeurist"

Welcome to 2022. A new year. And new content. And with this new year comes one of the most exciting releases to grace the year's already thriving music scene, and that's Underoath's  long awaited album "Voyeurist" . An album that shows the band's return to form in heavy music while also keeping in tone with sounds from the rock world that the band has already dipped their toes in in the past with their 2018 release "Erase Me" which signaled off a brand-new era filled to the everlasting brim with creativity and enthusiasm that had been missing for quite some time. And, with that creativity and enthusiasm we see the band continue down the road of heavily electrified industrial madness with the heaviness of past releases cultivating in one singular package. What's fascinating about "Voyeurist" is that it's boldness to create an atmosphere that's so different yet so familiar is something that yes has been seen in the past, is now ta

News | Maylene and The Sons of Disaster tease their return

Image
So, here  we are now in 2022 and the scene is potentially getting one of the biggest reunions that we have seen in a very long time.  The Birmingham, AL southern metalcore vets Maylene and The Sons of Disaster have always been a hot ticket band for reunion requests and rumors since their abrupt hiatus in 2016 due to the terrible ATV accident that struck front man Dallas Taylor, which understandably put him out of commission for a very long time, dealing with multiple life-threatening health struggles that should have taken the singer's life. But like John Jacobs himself he stood strong and kept on fighting. Well,  it seems like the wait for an official MATSOD reunion is starting to become a reality as recent photos and videos have shown up with Dallas Taylor, former Underoath band mate Octavio Fernandez, as well as other former members of Maylene performing for what seems like a new music video, as well as different videos of recordings with Dallas Taylor bringing back his signatur

Swan-core's Eidola shines through with some of the heaviest and creative post-hardcore that the year was shown. Soaring with technical and beautiful hooks, exquisite guitar structures, and an incredibly poignant narrative that you can sink yourself into. "The Architect" is a beautiful experience that you can immerse yourself into time and time again." - Samuel
